1 - The re-starting point.

 When I got this car it had one or two owners if I recall correctly. Later found out one of them had changed its colour from dark red to silver.

Any way, this is how it looked then.

After being parked for over 10 years, it came back to life fairly easily and is mechanically great. So here's a list of what it needs, if not more, for my own reference, in order or "urgency".

- Body and paint is the urgent matter at hand as can be seen:

1 - Strip paint from main panels,
2 - Check if doors and rubbers are recoverable / get new ones,
3 - Check if hood is worth the trouble/get new one,
4 - Check trunk after stripping paint, looks ok.
5 - Decide on front left fender, looks very rusted / get new one,
6 - Paint remove and sand it to perfection (no rust or grey oxidation marks),
7 - Fill gaps and eventual holes and make repairs... (that's gonna be new to me)
8 - Add layers of (spray?) primer (new again),
9 - Sand it again,
10 - Attempt to paint (that's new too) or have it painted properly. Maybe black bumpers to match the grill and plates (avoid new plating too) and add black period stripes on the sides like these:

- Mechanical:
11 -Carburettor needs a clean up,
12 - Slack in the steering,
13 - Speedometer not working (may be unplugged cable or need new one),
14 - New air filter (get a K&N),
15 - Check fuel sensor (erratic),
16 - Change gearbox fluid,
17 - Change differential fluid,
18 - Change engine oil,
19 - Change Spark plugs,
20 - Check distributor "plates"(?) and cables.

- Interior:
A few things are not original and that bothers me a bit, and will eventually address them by the end when detailing the interior:
21 - get original radio,
22 - get original seat upholstery,
23 - get original seat belts,
24 - may need new inner door panels.

- Exterior:
25 - Remove and/or find solution for radio antenna, see about the chrome trim, and buy an original driver side mirror.

- Other:
26 - Buy 2 spare wheels,

27 - Buy 4 new tyres (keep a pair of old ones as spares/drifters - €35x4),
28 - Paint all 6 wheels,
29 - Find and repair my hubcaps (eventually),
30 - Source a compatible LSD for it :-)

My final goal is to have an almost perfect and original model, absolutely no mods except for the rear diff, and maybe slightly lowered front to match the rear stance.
